CHAPTER 1 – GENERAL INFORMATION
1.01 GAME NAME
The ZOTAC FIFA10 Cup uses the videogame FIFA 10 in 1on1 mode.
1.02 REGULATION
GameSports reserves the right to modify the rules and regulations from time to time without notice. It is encouraged to review these rules and regulations from time to time in order to be apprised of any changes.
1.03 PRIZE MONEY DISTRIBUTION
The winner of the ZOTAC FIFA10 CUP will get the announced prize money. All europeanwide transfers will be handled by bank transfer. Transfers to players living outside of Europe will be handled by Paypal.
CHAPTER 2 – GAMESETTINGS
2.01 MATCH FORMAT
The ZOTAC FIFA10 CUP will be played in the single elimination mode. The matches are being played in the 1on1 format. Every match will be played in one game. The host will always be the player who is on top in the tournament grid.
The semi-finals as well as the overall final will be played in a best of three mode.
2.02 GAME VERSION
The tournament will be using the videogame FIFA 10 in its latest version. Every player has to own a legal version of the videogame.
2.03 CLIENTSETTINGS
The players have to run online patcher 0.35 by lupus and click EAS. During every match as well as a Fifa-Bot posting the scores in #ZOTAC.FIFA on Quakenet.
2.04 SERVERSETTINGS
The following settings have to be set by the host:
CHAPTER 3 – MATCHPROCEDURE
3.01 BEFORE THE MATCH
Every player has to be present in IRC during the whole tournament (#ZOTAC.FIFA – irc.quakenet.org). The IRC username should be a combination of the players GameSports account name and the EASO Matchmaker account from FIFA 2010.
3.02 DURING THE MATCH
Matches have to be played in the given time (45 minutes per tournament round including warmup time, match time etc). Every match has to be started until 15 minutes from the scheduled start.
Matches have to be played with Dip, only Matchmaker would be used in case not being able to use the other option.
In the case a player drops the remaining player has to take a screenshot showing the score immediately. The match will then be replayed with the remaining time.
When after 90 minutes the score is a draw, then players have to continue to play golden goal. In case of no one being able to score until extra time is over, the game is to be played out via penalties. After the golden goal was scored, the game has to be ended. If the opponent scores a draw then the player who shot a golden goal agrees to play 120 minutes.
3.03 AFTER THE MATCH
Every player has to take screenshots and keep them during the whole tournament. Screens have to be shown only when a referee demands to see them. The log’s and screen’s filenames have to be as followed: “tournamentround_nickname-opponent’s nickname”.
CHAPTER 4 – RULES AND VIOLATIONS
4.01 RULE VIOLATIONS
Using the so-called "Corner-Bug" is strictly forbidden. If a player uses the “Corner-Bug” the opponent has to take a screenshot as a proof. Without the screenshot there will be no decision regarding the “Corner-Bug” by the referees.
Making a pass from a throw in inside to the rival goalkeeper area and scoring is not allowed. In case of doing that, the gained goal will be not counted at the final score.
Scoring from the middle of the field after the kick off is not allowed. In case of doing that, the gained goal will be not counted at the final score.
Its not allowed making the ball rebound on the goal during a corner kick and after that make a goal headup and scoring.
Insults and disrespectful behaviour towards players and referees is strictly forbidden and will be punished with a disqualification.
4.02 SANCTIONS
Every violation against these rules and regulations can be punished with a default loss and/or an exclusion from the running and future tournaments.
5. SET OF RULES / REFEREES
5.1 Players have to obey the instructions of the referees.
5.2 Lodge protests only directly to the referees.
5.3 Any breach of the rules might be punished with a default loss or even with a disqualification.
5.4 The GameSports WC3 rules can be changed or expanded by the organisers at any point. The responsible referees have the possibility to change, modify, or reinterpret the rules at their own discretion.
6. PRIZE MONEY:
The winner will get remit the prize money. For a faster transfer we strongly recommend the winner to use PayPal; or rather to open an new account for it. Otherwise the transfer might take weeks. Western Union transferals are not possible.
7. LEGAL PROCESS
Legal proceedings are not permitted.
